I have chosen a small plank that I will experiment with. The image of a Mahi Mahi being teased out of the water. Have the big headed fish in the thicker side and hope to make the top fin out of a separate piece of wood. IS always good to present a horizon before charging ahead getting ready for no reason.
Im scarring the surface to begin to logic the different planes of depth. The head for example would have to pop. The waves will vary in depths of cresendo . There will be a high detail lure with highly detail rope (line ) heading back to the fisherman. I in tend to achieve max detail with these delicate parts.
Many things are changing in my life and learning the humble art of sharpening blades will help me get where I need to get with these planks. Is fun to understand what has to be at the TOP and what has to reced to the back. the mouth for instance and the eyes are a bit abstract. One way or another is going to rocks.
