SUMMIT

Ive been ask to collaborate with an interesting group of people all struggling to serve the better good of the community and through it receive merit for later visions involving art, education and health. Ive aggreed to print 4 large prints each 8' long 4' wide. Which are to be grouped in pairs in two separate walls. Ive been invited to hang some of my large format printmaking . The whale will be at the main summit event and the squid, a 750 sq. foot print will be hanging at agora kakaako. Wahoo for this opportunity to have it exposed and photographed. Along woth the whale and the prints at the main event hall i eill be doing an underwater installation of the sort.

Ive now begun printing of the four large prints i must do.

Before i even begin printing i spray the ink with a light coat of solvent ( no soy) and quickly lay the paper on top. Then using a part of a car engine i cannot identify that weights 135 lbs . I roll the print with the heavy roller twice . Using a burnisher i buff the surface until i see ink sipping through the paper. This tells me that the area has been saturated and solid tone lays on the adjacent side of the paper.
